“Oh my gosh, yesterday was the worst day ever,” I thought while sitting in class.
My brother had called, and as usual we could only talk for 15 minutes. He ask me how was school and stuff. I told him that it was good. Then all of a sudden…
“Did you talk to Pop?” my brother, Juan asked me.
“No, not recently. The last time I talked to him, we got in an argument.” I replied, while brushing my shiny black hair.
“Man Sarah, you shouldn’t be fighting with him, he’s your dad! You have to forgive him or you won’t be forgiven.” he yelled.
“Omgg! Forgiven for what? I didn’t do nuttin to him!” I told him.
“But you have sinned. God won’t forgive you until you forgive Pop.” he chanted.
By that time, I was soo angry. He jus kept yapping and yelling at me.
I finally told him, “I don’t forgive him for what he did to mom!”
My brother confessed, “I know he hurt you and Mom really badly, but he’s in a different country now. he has a new family and you can’t blame your little sister.”
Ugh!!! I don’t even care about that little girl. to me, she is not my sister! I don’t blame her, I blame my ungrateful, dreadful dad!!!!” I blurted.
Man, all I’m saying is you should forgive him,” he calmly replied.
“I don’t know. I’ll think about it.” I added.
After that, we hung up. I was crying so much after that. My black and white shirt was all wet because of my crying. My mom had asked me what was wrong because my eyes were all red and puffy. I had told her the whole story. She hugged me like a little girl would hug her big black teddy bear. Then, my mom took me to volleyball practice. All I could think about at practice was that sad, miserable, serious argument. My friends made me forget about it and I jus moved on with practice.
